Whats in the name....

We are 3 boys from the Concrete Jungle of Coventry on a mission to bastardize Rockabilly and welcome in into the noughties, King Hermit simply means the best of the worse, of course this was literal through Jim's mothers eyes when her precious son was on Job Seekers Allowance.

Its all about the sound...

Coming in suitably lean and mean, carrying not an ounce of fat, all spiky guitars and equally spiky lyrics, music that discards the much over-used indie swagger for a more wild-eyed, hyperactive skank.

And it’s all so quintessentially English.

Gigs aren't an afterthought...

We don't play a gig, we put on a show, albeit on that starts of fast and ends up bloody fast but a show none the less. Don't you hate it when your watching a band and they say "we're gonna slow this down now"? yeah so do we! so our aim is to put relentless energy and enthusiasms into our performance so much so that our drummer looses a stone in sweat after every gig (who needs slim fast ey?)

Bands need to set goal's...

Our goals are simple, be the best we can be, is there any other ethos a band needs to strive for? Sure we want the by products of success, what band doesn't? but it doesn't mean we are going to compensate our enjoyment for the sake of "making it"

Final thoughts aren't just for Jerry Springer...

Anything is possible, cliche it maybe but any great person in history will tell you that if you don't believe in yourself then no one else will.
